LOOK: Smokey Manaloto welcomes 1st child at 44

MANILA, Philippines – Smokey Manaloto is now a dad! 

In an almost four-minute TikTok video, the 44-year-old actor surprised his followers with the announcement that he had welcomed his first child.

“Sabi nila, wala ka nang pag-asa. Sabi nila, huli ka na sa biyahe. Akala ko nga, huli na. Hindi pa pala. Heto na ‘yung something big na nangyari sa akin,” he began the clip.

The actor-comedian then narrated his fatherhood journey, saying that he and his non-showbiz partner found out that they were expecting in December 2021. He shared video snippets of this journey, from their ultrasound visits to the childbirth. 

According to Manaloto, his partner, whose name he did not disclose, was admitted to the hospital on August 2, and delivered their child in the early morning of August 4. Their son is named Kiko Manaloto. 

Manaloto’s celebrity friends such as Angelica Panganiban, Roxanne Guinoo, Jayson Gainza, and Giselle Sanchez left their congratulatory messages for the actor. 

Manaloto currently stars in the ABS-CBN series 2 Good 2 Be True alongside Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Ronaldo Valdez, and Gloria Diaz, among others. – Rappler.com
