They dreamt, they believed, they survived: ‘Starstruck’ alumni reunite 

MANILA, Philippines – Who was your favorite Starstruck Avenger? Kapuso fans couldn’t help but feel nostalgic as former contestants of StarStruck, GMA’s reality talent competition show, held a mini-reunion. 

In an Instagram post on Monday, November 21, Cristine Reyes posted a video compilation of their moments from the get-together.

Present were her fellow season one avengers Sheena Halili, Katrina Halili, Christian Esteban, and ultimate male survivor Mark Herras. 

With them were season two avenger Megan Young, with her husband Mikael Daez, and ultimate female survivor Ryza Cenon. 

“About last night. Thank you guys,” Ryza captioned her post. 

Other celebrities such as Iza Calzado, Jolina Magdangal, Jake Cuenca, and fellow Starstruck alumna Yasmien Kurdi expressed their delight in seeing them together. 

StarStruck was GMA’s artista search competition that premiered in 2003 and lasted for seven seasons.  Other celebrities that started in StarStruck include Jennylyn Mercado, Aljur Abrenica, Jewel Mische, Kris Bernal, and Sarah Lahbati. – Rappler.com
