Singer, actress, and law student Tippy Dos Santos is now engaged to her boyfriend of 3 years, Miguel Porcuna.
Miguel popped the question on Christmas eve, in front of Tippy’s family. She posted about their engagement on Instagram on Christmas day, December 25 saying “I love you [Miguel].”
“Since October 30, 2016, after flight PR102, you have made each day brighter,” she said, referring to the US-bound flight where they crossed paths again after previously meeting. Miguel, who flies with Philippine Airlines, was the pilot on the flight.
In a vlog in February, Tippy and Miguel shared that they first met when Tippy was 15 years old through Miguel’s cousin – but that nothing had happened then.
They met again uneventfully in 2015, and then in January 2016, when Miguel gave her a mix CD and invited her to an Oh Wonder concert. She declined his invitation then, but ran into each other on the fateful flight in October 2016.
He invited to take Tippy and her mom around the US, and they started getting close after that.
