Harry Potter star Tom Felton collapsed during a golf tournament on Thursday, September 23, according to US media.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the 34-year-old British actor was seen being carted off the course after the collapse. He appeared conscious at the time. The Professional Golfers’ Association of America said in a statement that Felton was immediately brought to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of his collapse was not disclosed.
At the time of his collapse, Felton was playing a round of celebrity golf at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, ahead of the Ryder Cup, a biennial men’s golf competition between teams from Europe and the United States.
Felton, who is an avid golfer in his spare time, was representing Europe with former professional ice hockey player Teemu Selanne from Finland. The duo’s opponents were US Olympic hockey captain Mike Eurzione and Olympic skater Dan Jansen.
