WATCH: Vice Ganda, Ion Perez celebrate 2nd anniversary as a couple in theme park

Vice Ganda and Ion Perez celebrated their 2nd anniversary as a couple on Sunday, October 25 with a visit to a theme park in Laguna.

The two were accompanied by Vice’s friends, comedians Negi, Lassy, and MC.

“October 25 is a very important day because it’s our anniversary. Yes, two years na tayo. Dahil espesyal ang araw na ito, of course, we need to celebrate. Ito ay isang bagay na worth ng isang selebrasyon. Kaya naman ise-celebrate natin sa espesyal na lugar kung saan feeling namin ay magiging masaya kaming dalawa at masaya kami dahil pinayagan nila kami na dito i-celebrate ang anniverasary namin,” Vice said in the video, which was posted on YouTube.

(October 25 is a very important day because it’s our anniversary. Yes, we’ve been together for two years. Because this is a special day, of course, we need to celebrate. That is why we’re celebrating it in a special place where we could be happy and we’re fortunate we were allowed to celebrate our anniversary here.)

The couple enjoyed the theme park’s rides and bonded with staff and friends who were with them.

Vice said he’d written a song to document their relationship. “Mahal Ako ng Mahal Ko” was written by Vice with the help of Moira dela Torre and Jason Marvin Hernandez.

“May isang gabi na nakapagsulat ako ng tula tapos sabi ko parang ang ganda naman nito. Tapos, sabi ko sa daming uncertainties sa paligid, hindi ko alam kung saan patungo yung sinimulan natin,” he said.

(One night, I was able to write a poem and then I told myself, this is nice. I told myself: with all the uncertainties around us, I don’t know where this will lead. )

“Yung istorya nating dalawa gusto ko i-imortalize. Hindi lang siya magiging pelikula pero gusto ko ikuwento yung experience ko nung nakilala kita.“

(I want to immortalize our story. Perhaps not through a movie, but I still want to tell what it’s like to know you.)

“Yung tula ginawa kong kanta. Pinakiusapan ko si Moira kung pwede niya akong tulungan na yung tula na ginawa ko para sa iyo eh maging kanta.”
