‘Best birthday gift ever’: Wilma Doesnt is engaged

Actress and model Wilma Doesnt announced on Saturday, July 10, that she is now engaged to her long-time partner, Gerick Livelo Parin.

The engagement on Saturday, which happened to be her birthday, was the “best birthday gift ever,” she said in an Instagram post. 

The proposal happened at what appeared to be an outdoor resort, where Wilma was hosting an event. Gerick came up to Wilma, showed her the ring, and went down on one knee. A very surprised and giddy Wilma eventually said: “Yes, of course.” 

“To all the women out there, never give up on love. Your past doesn’t define you, nor your mistakes in life. I called it process…. Trust the process kasi may mas magandang naghihintay sa iyo (better things will come your way). Patience is a virtue,” she said in an Instagram post with a video of the proposal itself. 

“Forgive yourself, respect and love yourself above all para mahanap ka ng taong nakatakda para sa iyo (the one meant for you will find you). Maraming maraming salamat sa lahat ng naging parte ng buhay ko!!! Mahal na mahal ko kayong lahat (Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my life. I love you all),” she added. 

In true Wilma fashion, she started off her post by saying, “Kilig clitoris ko!!!” (Even my clitoris feels giddy.)

Wilma has three children from past relationships, Asiana, Emilia, and Araion. Wilma first rose to fame in the 2000s as a comedienne, actor, and model. – Rappler.com
