LOOK: Yam Concepcion lands on New York’s Times Square billboard

Actress Yam Concepcion was spotted on New York’s Times Square digital billboard, modeling for Philippine fashion brand Ia’s Threads.

Yam shared videos of her posing in front of the billboard with designer Ia Faraoni, friends, and her team in a Wednesday, August 25 Instagram post.

“It’s finally up on times square. Congratulations team!,” she wrote, tagging Ia’s Threads and her glam team in the caption. The photo was taken by photographer Neil Tandy.

Ia’s Threads, founded by Ia Faraoni, also shared the news on Instagram, saying that “a QUEEN who walks with purpose shines light brighter than her crown.” They called Yam “one of the hottest movie and television actresses in the Philippines,” who “electrified Times Square with two digital billboard appearances.”

“In the first billboard Yam is wearing our SINAG bag, and in the second one wearing our CAYÉ bag with @ruffryder_84 , actor from movie John Wick 3 wearing the DIWATA JAUNE Backpack,” Ia’s Threads added.

According to their Instagram page, Ia’s Threads is a “sustainable and ethical fashion brand” that offers eco-friendly bags and purses handmade by Philippine artisans.

Yam is currently based in the United States. She recently tied the knot with her longtime non-showbiz boyfriend Miguel Cuunjieng on July 25 in New York. – Rappler.com
