Zac Efron splits with girlfriend Vanessa Valladares – reports

Actor Zac Efron has called it quits with girlfriend Vanessa Valladares after 10 months of dating, according to US media.

US Weekly cited a source who said that Zac’s schedule could no longer coincide with the Australian model’s, as he is “about to start a busy year of filming and wanted to make a clean break now.”

Efron’s friend Kyle Sandilands also confirmed the breakup on Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie O Show, saying that “they’ve gone their separate ways,” and that there was “no drama, but it’s done.”

PEOPLE Magazine also cited a source, saying that Zac, 33, broke up with Vanessa, 25, because “it just didn’t feel right to him anymore.” The source also added that the High School Musical and The Greatest Showman star is “happy, healthy, and enjoying life” in Australia, where he currently lives. Zac and Vanessa previously lived together in Zac’s home near Byron Bay, Australia.

Zac will be flying to Canada in May for the filming of the Stephen King reboot Firestarter, which Anne Hathaway will also star in. He reportedly has no plans to return to the US anytime soon.

Zac and Vanessa first met in June 2020 at The Byron Bay General Store, where Vanessa was working in at the time. They made their first public appearance together in July, and spent Zac’s 33rd birthday together in October. – Rappler.com
