Chance the Rapper is coming to Manila for a concert

MANILA CONCERT. Chance the Rapper is set to perform in Manila for the first time on August 22, at the Mall of Asia Arena.

MANILA, Philippines – Chance the Rapper is heading to Manila in August for a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

MMI Live, who will be bringing Chance to Manila made the announcement on its social media accounts. The concert is happening on August 22.

The rapper turned to Twitter to say he was looking forward to touring Asia this year. Aside from Manila, he will be performing in Japan and Singapore.

Born Chancelor Jonathan Bennett, Chance rose to fame for his mixed tape Acid Rap in 2013. He released another mixed tape called Coloring Book in 2016, which earned him 3 Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album.

Tickets to Chance's concert go on sale June 26 for Globe subcribers, while regular tickets will be sold starting June 27 via SMTickets.com – Rappler.com
