Ellen Adarna silent on 'paparazzi' case

MANILA, Philippines – More than 12 hours after a case was filed against her for posting on Instagram Stories about an underaged girl, actress Ellen Adarna continues to be silent on the issue.

Instead, the actress posted a video of her giving actor John Lloyd Cruz a buzz cut. "Today's Agenda," wrote Ellen as her caption, with the hashtag #thingswedoathome. (READ: The gospel according to Ellen Adarna)

The actor sported the new haircut during an event in Quezon City, but he declined to speak to media, according to ABS-CBN.

While Ellen and John Lloyd have never publicly confirmed their relationship, they often post videos and photos of each other or of them together on social media.

Ellen is rumored to be pregnant with the actor's child, but months after it was initially reported, no confirmation has been made.

Ellen, who openly says she has no qualms about stripping down and being judged for it, recently became fodder for entertainment headlines after she posted photos of a girl whom she claimed was trying to take her picture. The actress was dining in a ramen restaurant then.

The girl turned out to be 17-year-old Eleila Santos, who said on Twitter that she wasn't taking a video of Ellen. Eleila said she did not even recognize Ellen, but the actress insisted she was right.

Eleila's mother Myra later penned an open letter to Ellen, demanding a public apology within 5 days. It never arrived.

The Santos family confirmed to Smart Parenting that they filed a "child abuse, cybercrime, and libel" case against Ellen before the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday, May 15. – Rappler.com
