MANILA, Philippines – There's another Transformers movie coming our way, and this time, we get a look at the backstory on the war between humans and robots.
In the first-ever trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, released on Monday, December 5, fans get a look at the Transformers' involvement in the Earth's history.
"It has been said through the ages: without sacrifice there can be no victory. Two species at war, one flesh, one metal," narrates a voice over scenes from the movie.
"Optimus Prime has left us," it continues as a decaying Optimus floats through space. "One hundred billion trillion planets in the cosmos, you want to know, don't you, why they keep coming here."
But fans are in for a surprise when Optimus Prime appears at the end of the trailer, attacking Cade (Mark Wahlberg) and Bumblebee.
Mark once again plays Cade in the 5th installment of the franchise. He formerly played the character in Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Transformers: The Last Knight is set to be released in Philippine theaters in June 2017. – Rappler.com
