WASHINGTON, United States of America - Former American President George H.W. Bush (father of another former American President, George W. Bush) turned 88 years old last Tuesday, June 12.
The man hailed by Americans as one "who started a legacy" looks back at the past 88 years through an HBO documentary about him, "41."
"41" stands for the senior Bush being America's 41st President.
Shot mostly with his family in their family compound Walker's Point at Kennenbunkport, Maine, executive producer Jerry Weintraub ("Karate Kid," "Ocean's" films) says the documentary is a "very personal film, there's no politics." Weintraub has known H.W. Bush for 41 years.
His granddaughter, Jenna Bush Hager, interviewed him for Today, and the former President couldn't help but tear up. Watch the interview here:
