MANILA, Philippines – We’ve seen many of the famous Batman villains on Gotham, from the Penguin to Catwoman (or their earlier versions), but the show is now teasing the arrival of one of its most iconic villains: the Joker. (READ: 'Gotham' before Batman: Heroes, villains, and those in between)
In the teaser for the episode set to air February 16 in the US, we see a man being asked, “Do you know why you’re here?” His response: a slowly building, chilling high-pitched laugh.
Very little is revealed, but the teaser says that “Gotham’s next villain is no joke,” followed by that sinister laugh. (READ: 'Gotham' season premiere recap: How did it do?)
Gotham, which follows a young James Gordon as he navigates the city’s notorious pool of criminals, was recently renewed for a second season. – Rappler.com
