Kris Aquino posts touching message for PNoy hours before inauguration

MANILA, Philippines – Hours before the newly elected president and vice president were inaugurated, President Benigno Aquino III's youngest sister Kris Aquino took to social media to express her gratitude and extend her prayers.

The night before the inauguration, Kris posted a photo of herself with her two sons and their uncle PNoy. In the caption, she joked, "In case you get lonely, you have 3 noisy, makulit, energetic house mates (Kuya Josh, Bimb, and me) ready to occupy your guest room & keep you company whether you like it or not."

Kris also said she was ready to take care of her older brother as he becomes an ordinary citizen and used the hashtag "#ThankYouPNoy," to thank him for his service to the country during his term.

Kris also took the time to thank the Presidential Security Group (PSG) with a photo of them with her 3 sisters, Ballsy, Pinky, and Viel. Her sons Bimby Aquino-Yap and Joshua Aquino were also in the photo.

"Thank you to the PSG who took excellent care of us, PNoy's sisters & genuinely became a part of our family. We were blessed w/ a professional & compassionate team," she said.

In her final post before the Duterte-Robredo inauguration, Kris said that she thanked God for the memories she and her family will treasure – among them, the time Pope Francis came to the Philippines and every time her brother included her sons in his activities.

"May God continue to bless President [Rodrigo] Duterte and Vice President [Leni] Robredo, the success of our leaders is also the success of our country. MABUHAY ANG DEMOKRASYA!" Kris finished.

When I was praying last night, I thanked God for the memories we will treasure. What stood out in my heart was the opportunity to have been in the presence of @franciscus, attending His Mass w/ all other Filipinos who share our faith, and all the times Tito Noy made an extra effort to include Kuya Josh & Bimb...
