Kris Aquino makes peace with Judy Ann Santos

MANILA, Philippines  It seems the drama has come to an end, at least for now. Kris Aquino and Judy Ann Santos are friends again.

On Instagram Thursday, February 5, Kris said she apologized to Judy Ann, and that she prayed before texting her.

"I just came from 1 of my favorite Churches on my way to A&A. I said sorry to God for my sin of pride. I can be impulsive & overly emotional. But I also believe I am never spiteful & always respectful. Above all, I know how to take responsibility for my actions..." Kris wrote.

"Before leaving for work, I felt my guardian angel telling me to text @officialjuday. Naglakas loob ako (i gathered courage) & prayed for the best. Thank You God for answering my prayer. #mutualrespect"

Kris also followed Judy Ann back on Instagram.

It was previously reported that the TV host-actress unfollowed Judy Ann after she posted a photo of US President Barack Obama meeting fallen troops.

In the caption, Judy Ann said, "At least Obama knows his priorities" – an apparent rib at the President, who was criticized for not showing up to the arrival honors for the slain PNP SAF officers who died in a violent clash in Maguindanao last January 25. (READ: PH celebrities mourn fallen PNP SAF officers)

Kris also apologized to Ogie Alcasid and wife Regine Velasquez after a misunderstanding regarding their views on the issue.

On Sunday, February 1, Kris answered comments regarding her brother's handling of the Maguindanao clash. She said that for as long as people continue to criticize her brother, she will defend him.

Meanwhile, friends Derek Ramsay and John Lapus defended her, saying the Aquinos are good people and that the hurtful social media comments, among them wishing death on the Aquinos, were unnecessary.  Rappler.com
