MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Kris Aquino has been dropping hints about her Hollywood project and it looks like she's "confirming" her participation in the movie adaptation of the popular book Crazy Rich Asians.
On Wednesday, June 14, Kris posted a photo on Instagram of her and Fresh off the Boat actress Constance Wu, who plays Jessica Huang in the show. Constance plays Rachel Chu in the Crazy Rich Asians film.
Kris wrote:"#fangirl moment. We've seen every episode of the 3 seasons of #freshofftheboat and so happy they've been renewed for Season 4! Thank You [Constance Wu] (Jessica Huang, the Mom of Eddie, Emery, and Evan & Louis' wife) for being so gracious, I know how exhausted she was BUT she still made the effort to pleasantly converse with me."

It felt weird to just call him Jon & not "Direk"- but he was super pleasant & unbelievably visually creative. Thank you @jonmchu for an incomparable experience. A post shared by Kris Aquino (@krisaquino) on Jun 16, 2017 at 10:11am PDT
This picture deserved drama- because the beauty of @gemma_chan was just breathtaking even at 1 AM(yes, malakas ang loob kong tabihan sya)... but I couldn't reveal more of our exquisitely enchanting location- if you'll notice in all my pictures I'm either in my hoodie or my blanket to hide my @michael5inco gown. Still not allowed to mention the movie nor my role BUT I NEED TO EXPRESS MY HEARTFELT GRATITUDE for making this Filipina feel so honored to have been given this unprecedented opportunity... to the whole production THANK YOU for being so professional yet warmly welcoming, and from observing you work, teaching me so many new things about your singular world. #Mabuhay A post shared by Kris Aquino (@krisaquino) on Jun 16, 2017 at 6:13pm PDT
