Bita and the Botflies is performing at Rappler HQ.

Members Sofy and Rebel Aldeguer, Kevin Novenario-Navea, Rheymon Concepcion, and Mark Lincallo first came together to form the band in 2016.

They debuted their first single “Tagu-Taguan” on Monster RX IndieGround in October 2017. The song went on to hit #5 on the station’s chart.

Through their music, Bita and the Botflies takes on disturbing topics with an eccentric flair, with songs such as “Sisikat Ka Iha,” and “Chop-Chop Blues.” The band is currently working on their debut album while playing gigs around the metro.
