[WATCH] Rappler Live Jam: Mark Oblea

Mark Oblea is performing on Rapper Live Jam!

The 23-year-old singer/songwriter got his start as a finalist on the reality talent search Pinoy Boyband Superstar in 2016.

He then signed with Universal Records later that year, and quickly started writing his own music, coming up with several songs that will be released on his debut EP.

He released his first single “Langit Pag Nandiyan” in May 2018, followed by a silent release of his cover of Paraluman’s “Tabi” which gained half a million plays on Spotify within a month. He also sang “Fiona,” the theme song for the indie film Bakwit Boys, an official entry to the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino in 2018.

He ended 2018 on a high note, releasing another single – and his first original composition – “Ulap” on Spotify in December.
