MANILA, Philippines – Bopek is performing on Rappler Live Jam!

While the indie rock band’s name may be a crude slang word, their music is anything but – with smooth riffs, emotionally intense lyrics, and soaring but soothing vocals.

Comprised of Phoebe Ledesma on vocals, Vince La Madrid and Wilton Lopez on guitars, Patrick Simon on bass, and Eisen Noga on drums, the band first came together in Cavite in 2015.

The band has released several singles since then, including “Paraiso,” “Dalawa,” and “Ayaw Na.” One of their releases, “HNNP,” was nominated at both the 2019 Awit Awards as well as the 2019 Wish 107.5 Awards.
