MANILA, Philippines – Two OPM legends are coming together for one special Live Jam to talk about the upcoming Taga-Alog 2019 Grand Concert.
Folk singer Noel Cabangon, and rapper Gloc-9 will be performing at the event, which culminates a creative campaign by the National Commission of Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Philippine Education Theater Association (PETA), and the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission (PRRC).
The campaign, launched in August 2019, seeks to rehabilitate the Pasig River through culture and the arts, and promote it as a space for culutral identity and collective memory.
Noel is one of Taga-Alog 2019’s official ambassadors, along with Aicelle Santos and Ben&Ben. They will be performing at the concert along with guest artists Gloc-9, Kaleidoscope Eyes, and Talahib Band.
The free-admission concert will be happening on November 9 at the Main Oval of the Rizal High School in Pasig City.
