Get into the holiday spirit with this Live Jam

We’re welcoming the holiday season with JustRap, Rusty Machines, and Marion Aunor performing on Rappler Live Jam at Capitol Commons.

JustRap is an up-and-coming hip-hop act made up of Rafael Carandang and Jessie Quintela. They released their song “Morena Girl” featuring Inza in August, with the song quickly becoming a viral dance challenge on Tiktok with over 10 million views.

Rusty Machines is no stranger to Live Jam, returning this time with a virtual performance. The garage rock band is made up of Iggy San Pablo, Joshua Andres, Leandro Fabregas, and Miklo Miso. They released their debut EP City Lights in 2014, and their debut album Making Friends marked its first anniversary in November.

Marion Aunor is an indie-pop singer-songwriter who broke into the music scene when she finished as second runner-up in the songwriting competition Himig Handog in 2013. She has since released two self-titled albums, and written songs that have been featured in the soundtracks of films like Never Not Love You, Always Be My Maybe, and The Day After Valentines.

Get into the Christmas spirit and catch the show – brightened up by the Christmas lights display at Capitol Commons – on Friday, November 27, at 8 pm.
