MANILA, Philippines – Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming Zoolander 2, a sequel to the runaway 2001 hit about the dim but “really, really, really ridiculously good-looking” male supermodel played by Ben Stiller. Now, fans can view the first teaser trailer, released by Paramount Pictures Sunday, August 2 (Monday in Manila).
We don’t know too many details about the plot yet, but Ben has been posting a few teasers on Instagram, including a confirmed appearance by Justin Bieber as well as the introduction of Derek’s son in the film.
Zoolander (2001) follows the adventures of a not-so-bright male model competing for the limelight against rival Hansel, another hot talent. Everyone gets tangled up in the ugly side of the fashion world, especially when it’s revealed that some nefarious villains have interests that aren’t quite purely sartorial.
