MANILA, Philippines – A new trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse has been released, and things look grim and perilous not only for Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and his band of mutants – but for the entire planet as well.
The trailer highlights an ancient mutant, the menacing Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), and the annihilation he is capable of.
Together with his Four Horsemen, Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), and Angel (Ben Hardy), they “will cleanse the earth for the strongest.”
“He means to destroy this world – billions of people killed,” says Professor Xavier, as the X-Men heeds the call to defend the world. “The world needs the X-Men,” says Hank McCoy aka Beast (Nicholas Hoult).
“Let’s go to war,” Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique aka Raven Darkholme announces to her comrades. “Forget everything you know. You’re not students anymore. You’re X-Men.”
X-Men Apocalypse is set to screen in Philippine cinemas this May 2016. – Rappler.com
