WATCH: Aldub goes to Italy in romantic 'Imagine You and Me' trailer
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The full trailer for Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s much awaited movie has been released on Saturday, June 25.
Titled Imagine You and Me, the movie was shot in Italy. In the movie, Alden and Maine play Gara and Andrew, whose paths cross in that country.
Gara has a familiar predicament. She's "NBSB" – No Boyfriend Since Birth.
"Waiting lang. Baka kasi na-traffic lang o kaya na-delay sa customs yung love life ko (I'm just waiting. Maybe it's because my love life was just stuck in a traffic jam or got delayed at customs)," says Gara in the first teaser trailer.
"Bakit 'di mo ipikit ang mga mata mo? Tapos mag-imagine ka... Sino bang naiisip mong kasama mo? (Why don't you close your eyes? Then imagine someone... Who are you with in your mind?)" Andrew tells Gara.
"Sino bang gusto mong imaginin ko? (Who do you want me to imagine?)" Gara replies.
In one dramatic scene, Andrew says: "Please don’t break my heart like this. Binuo mo na ako." (You made me whole already.)
Aside from the trailer, Maine gave a sample of the song of the same title during the Kalyeserye segment of Eat Bulaga, Thursday, June 16. Maine wrote the lyrics of the song with music by Vic Sotto and arranged by Jimmy Antiporda.
Listen to the song starting at 17:40.
Prior to Imagine You and Me, Alden and Maine appeared in the movie My Bebe Love. This is the first movie where they have starring roles.
Imagine You and Me is scheduled to hit theaters in July 13. – Rappler.com
