WATCH: Vic Sotto is back in ‘Enteng Kabisote 10’
Enteng is back on the big screen and he's not alone, as he leads a group of unusual heroes known as the Abangers

MANILA, Philippines – Vic Sotto and the gang are back in the 10th installment of the Enteng Kabisote franchise: Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers.

Vic returns as Enteng in the new family-adventure film. In the movie, Enteng has made use of his skills in the ironworks and robotics industries, becoming a successful businessman. He also spends more time with his cute granchild Benokis.

But trouble arises when Kwak-Kwak (Epy Quizon), who was booted from Engkatasya, returns to create chaos through a virtual game. Enteng then gathers the Abangers, led by his son Benok (Oyo Sotto), to fight. The Abangers, according to a release about the film, are also known as OEWs (overseas engkantasya workers).

The movie also stars the trio of Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros, and also Alonzo Muhlach. Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza will also make a special appearance, along with Vic’s wife Pauleen Luna-Sotto and Joey de Leon.

Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers was one of the entries that was not inluded in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. Aside from Enteng, the Super Parental Guardians starring Coco Martin and Vice Ganda and Mano Po 7: Chinoy also failed to make it to the list. In past years, Vice Ganda, Mano Po, and Enteng were crowd-pleasing movies with consistent presence in the MMFF lineups. (Richard Yap, Mother Lily discuss ‘Mano Po 7’ exclusion from MMFF 2016 lineup)

Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers is directed by Marlon Rivera and Tony Y. Reyes. The movie hits theaters on November 30. – Rappler.com
