Caesar meets Malcolm (Jason Clarke) who lost his wife to the deadly virus, and eventually become friends.

The apes and humans were able to forge a fragile peace but it proved to be short-lived. Now both sides face possible war to determine who will live and who will be wiped out.

“There’s a lot of mistrust and throwing of blame on both sides,” the actor. “From the point of view of the humans, there’s a lot of anger about how mankind has suffered because of the virus. The humans wrongly blame the apes for causing the virus, though humans actually created the virus in a lab a decade earlier.”

Distributed by Warner Brothers, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opens this July in the Philippines. –Rappler.com
