WATCH: First 'Justice League' trailer drops at Comic-Con

MANILA, Philippines – Warner Brothers suprised fans on Saturday, July 23 at Comic-Con in San Diego by giving them a sneak peek of the much-anticipated Justice League movie, scheduled for release on November 17, 2017.

In the trailer, Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) reunite and recruit Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Barry Allen or The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to form an alliance of superpowered individuals.

"I believe that an enemy is coming... from far away. I'm looking for warriors," says Bruce Wayne. "I'm building an alliance to defend us."

Superman actor Henry Cavill, who was last seen in Batman v Supermanwas not part of the video previewed at Comic-Con. He was thought to be dead, but in that film, a cliffhanger made it appear that he lives once more.

The trailer also showed some lighter moments with Bruce telling Barry "So you're fast." Barry, meanwhile, tells Bruce: "That feels like an oversimplification."
