The video also introduced Harrelson as serial killer Cletus Kasady, who was sentenced to lethal injection in prison. The dose appears to awaken the symbiote inside of him and results in his transformation into Carnage, Venom’s archenemy.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage also stars Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomie Harris and is directed by Andy Serkis. The first Venom film premiered in the Philippines in October 2018.

The sequel was originally scheduled for release in October 2020 but was delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now slated to premiere on September 24, 2021. – Rappler.com
