Against the Current is coming to Manila

MANILA, Philippines – Good news Against the Current fans! The band is coming to Manila on September 5 as part of their “Gravity” world tour. 

The band, which consists of Chrissy Costanza, Will Ferri, and Daniel Gow, was founded in 2011 and rose to fame after posting their songs and videos on YouTube.

They’ve collaborated with many other YouTube musicians, including Alex Goot, Sam Tsui, and Kurt Hugo Schneider. The band’s last concert in Manila in August 2014, was with Alex Goot. 

Their world tour is just one of many activities Against the Current has been busy with this year. They released a new music video for their song “Fireproof” last August 8.

They recently announced on social media that they officially finished their first album.

The album will be released through Fueled by Ramen, with whom they signed in March.

The concert will be held at the Metrotent, Metrowalk in Pasig. A meet and greet with the band will also be held for those who can get tickets.
