MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Hip-hop artist Nelly’s much-anticipated Manila show on January 12 has been postponed due to “unforeseen events,” according to Cove Manila, where the show was set to be held.

In a Facebook post, Cove Manila said Nelly’s management postponed the rest of his performances in Asia, including his Manila stop.

Cove Manila said that they are currently coordinating with Nelly’s team to finalize a new date for his concert. They also gave information for those who would like to refund their tickets and tables.

“Together with Nelly, we deeply regret this sudden turn of events and share in the eagerness of all his Filipino fans to see him perform live at Cove Manila,” they said.

Cove Manila earlier announced on Instagram that the Grammy winner, known for his songs such as “Dilemma” and “Ride Wit Me,” will be performing there.

Tickets could be purchased at Okada Manila’s Pearl Wing Lobby and online at covemanila.com.
