Matchbox 20 coming to Manila in November

MANILA, Philippines – Matchbox Twenty fans should get ready for the “Mad Season” because in November, the band is heading to Manila for their first concert in the Philippines.

The American rock band announced on their Facebook page, “We’re headed to the Philippines! We’re very excited to announce that we’ll be coming to the Philippines on November 8th at the Mall of Asia Arena!”

The concert details appeared on the band’s official website and that of Manila Concert Scene. However, the date of when tickets will be available for purchase has not yet been revealed.

Matchbox Twenty, composed of lead vocalist and pianist Rob Thomas, lead guitarist Kyle Cook, drummer and rhythm guitarist Paul Doucette and bass guitarist Brian Yale, are on tour to promote their latest album, “North.”

They are best remembered for hits like the melancholic “3am,” the frustrated rock anthem “Unwell,” funky “Mad Season” and more.
