One Direction to perform in Manila in 2015

MANILA, Philippines – It’s confirmed!

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik –the boys of One Direction – will be dropping by Manila as a part of their On the Road Again tour in 2015.

The group’s concert will be on March 21, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

A post on SM Tickets’ Facebook Page says final ticket prices are:

• VIP (reserved seating) P17,950 (US$411)
• Diamond (reserved seating) P14,800 (US$338)
• Titanium (free seating) P7,450 (US$170)
• Gold (free seating) P3,775 (US$86)
• Silver (standing) P2,200 (US$50)
• Bronze (standing) P1,150 (US$26)

A priority selling event will be held on May 23, 2014, at the Mall of Asia Arena, from 8 am to 2 pm, to accommodate those who want to get their tickets first. This will only be good for the first 15,000 customers arriving at the venue.

After the selling event, tickets will be available in all SM Tickets outlets nationwide and through the website www.smtickets.com

There will be no ticket reservations.

One Direction is an English-Irish boy band that gained popularity after winning third place at Britain’s The X Factor in 2010.

They have 3 albums to date – Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012) and Midnight Memories (2013) – and have won 4 Brit Awards and 4 MTV Video Music Awards aside from topping music charts and breaking a couple of records.

Some of their hits include “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Live While We’re Young,” “Little Things,” and “Story of My Life.”
