MANILA, Philippines – DJ Carlo Atendido from Manila, who competed in the Cebu qualifiers of the competition, was crowned as the first winner of the recently concluded Red Bull Thre3Style World Championship Philippines Finals Republiq Club, Resorts World Manila.

DJ Carlo is the first Filipino to represent the country in the upcoming Red Bull Thre3Style World Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan.  He won the competition by showing his skills, playing great music and club favorites for the crowd.

First runner was DJ Supreme Fist, while DJ Aryan finished third place.

The Red Bull Thre3style contest is a competition for the best DJs around the world where in they get to showcase their technical skills and thrill the crowd on the dance floor.

Other finalists in the competition were DJ K Groove (Kristian Hernandez) who has done work in Sydney, Paris, London, Barcelona, New York, and Tokyo; DJ Niki Del Rosario who got everyone partying, and  DJ Nix Damn P (Nix Pernia).

Judging this year’s event were 2011 Thres3style World Champion DJ Hedpsin and 2014 Thre3style World Final judge DJ Shortkut. The judges based their decision on the criteria of track selection, mixing creativity, technicality of mixing, stage presence, and crowd response.
