WATCH: Music video for new Eraserheads song 'Sabado'
MANILA, Philippines – Just in time for the weekend, here’s a treat from The Eraserheads: the new music video of their just-released song, “Sabado.”
The video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Erik Matti, was launched Thursday, September 11 and takes viewers back to the happy, carefree world of house parties.
The song, which for many fans calls to mind the overwhelming feelings of ‘90s nostalgia, was co-written by band members Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raymund Marasigan, as well as Esquire Editor-in-Chief Erwin Romulo. (READ: Memories of the madness: Eraserheads and new music)
“Sabado” is one of two new Eraserheads songs that were released along with the September issue of Esquire, which features the group on the cover. The other song is called "1995."(READ: The Eraserheads: Coming full circle)
Last September 4, the group briefy reunited to play together again at the launch of the magazine's September issue in Makati City.
