The 'Paraluman' singer is back with a new track

Fresh off the success of his previous single “Paraluman,” singer-songwriter Adie is back with a new drop, “Dungaw,” released on Friday, July 16.

The song brings to mind rainy days and late night drives, with a slow, sultry melody punctuated by a steady beat and bluesy guitar.

“I came up with ‘Dungaw’ cause it’s about looking or taking a glance into
something. My inspirations behind this track are those who hadn’t really moved on with their pasts and stuff,” Adie explained.

“I also put my own experience in it when I had someone back then, and we only had few memories together; that’s why it always bothers me and made me wanna cry so bad back then. But when I wrote the song, I’m totally good and moved on, so there’s nothing to mention,” he added.

The song is out now on digital streaming platforms, with a music video to follow, directed by Kris Cazin and starring Adie and actress Rhen Escaño.

Since his debut in 2020, Adie now counts over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. “Paraluman” now has over 8 million streams, and the music video, starring Ivana Alawi, counts 3 million views on YouTube.
