Newly-launched P-pop groups BINI and BGYO are set to cap off their debut year with a joint concert, to be held in the last quarter of 2021.

ABS-CBN Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi made the announcement at BINI’s launch event on Friday, June 11.

He also said that BINI’s debut single “Born to Win,” and BGYO’s “The Light” will be released in several foreign-language versions, and that the two groups’ full albums are also to be expected this year.

BINI is an 8-member girl group that was formed in 2018 through talent training camp Star Hunt Academy. The group went viral for its pre-debut single “Da Coconut Nut,” a pop remix of Ryan Cayabyab’s classic novelty song released in November 2020.

Made up of Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Jhoanna, Maloi, Milkha, Sheena, and Stacey, BINI was officially launched on Friday, June 11, in an event that included performances from the members and a fashion show where the girls modelled ensembles specially designed for them by Francis Libiran.

BGYO is BINI’s brother group, also formed through the Star Hunt Academy. The group was launched in January, along with the release of their debut single, “The Light.

BGYO is made up of 5 members: Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate. –
