“My Universe” will be the first collaboration between Coldplay and the 7-member BTS. But the two groups have crossed paths – at least musically – before.

In February 2021, BTS performed a cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You” for MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS.
The two groups are among the biggest musical acts in the world. Coldplay – Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and creative director Phil Harvey – was formed in 1996 and first shot to fame with the release of the song “Yellow.” They released their first album, Parachutes, in 2000.
BTS – Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – debuted in 2013 and rose to international fame years later in 2016. They’ve since topped records across different platforms and is considered among the biggest pop acts today. – Rappler.com
