British rock band Coldplay is set to perform on ABS-CBN’s ASAP Natin ‘To on Sunday, July 11.
In a 15-second video posted on ASAP Natin ‘To’s social media accounts, Coldplay’s vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland invites viewers to watch their performance.
Chris said, “Hi, I’m Chris and this is Johnny, saying hello to everyone listening in the Philippines.”
Johnny said that they’ll be performing their latest single “Higher Power.”
On Wednesday, July 7, Coldplay once again asked their fans to support their performance. “Please watch out for it, it’s a special one,” they wrote.
As of the writing, the post has 49,000 reactions and 7,000 comments with Filipinos expressing their excitement for the band’s number.
Coldplay released “Higher Power” in May 2021. The rock group is also known for hit songs “Paradise,” “Fix You,” “The Scientist” and “Viva la Vida.” – Rappler.com
