Selena Gomez is coming to Manila

MANILA, Philippines – No, this is not an April Fools’ Day joke. Selena Gomez is coming to Manila!

The pop superstar is bringing her The Revival Tour to the city with a concert at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 31, 2016.

Selena is known for chart-topping tunes like “Naturally,” “Love You Like a Love Song,” “Come & Get It,” and her collaboration with Zedd, “I Want You To Know.” 

She released her album Revival in October 2015 to critical acclaim, with singles such as “Good for You” (featuring ASAP Rocky), “Same Old Love,” and “Hands to Myself.”

Previously, she had to cancel her tour stop in Manila, along with other Asian and Australian dates in 2014. She said in a statement disseminated by concert promoter Live Nation: “My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me.”

Tickets to her The Revival Tour concert in Manila will be available starting on April 16 through SM Tickets. The concert is presented by Wilbros Live.
