Sungha Jung to perform 2 nights in PH

MANILA, Philippines – Fans of Korean guitarist Sungha Jung are in for a treat, as he will perform again for Filipino fans this August. 

According to the SM Tickets website, Sungha is scheduled to perform at the J.Center Mall, Cebu on August 15, and Samsung Hall in SM Aura on August 17. This will be the second time Sungha will perform in the country.

On YouTube, Sungha talked about his upcoming show in the Philippines.

 

 

Known for his extraordinary guitar skills, the 17-year-old Sungha Jung rose to fame via YouTube, where some of his guitar arrangements of popular songs wowed  viewers, including celebrities. It was reported that no less that Yoko Ono, widow of the Beatles’ John Lennon, was happy over his rendition of the song “All You Need is Love.” 

In his concert last year in the country, Sungha even performed The Eraserheads’ song “Ang Huling El Bimbo.”
