MANILA, Philippines – Incubus will play in Manila on March 13, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The group is set to give Manila audiences an unforgettable show – this time, with violinist (and YouTube sensation) Lindsey Stirling.

Lindsey is an American violinist and performer, also known for her stint in the 5th season of reality series America’s Got Talent. She posts her violin performances mainly on her YouTube account.
Brandon Boyd, Mike Einzinger, and Jose Pasillas formed Incubus in 1991, while still in high school. They later added new members Dirk Lance Katunich and Gavin Koppell, before they were replaced by Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore.

The band gained much recognition for their album Make Yourself in 1999, and soon generated even more buzz with singles like “Drive,” “Megalomaniac,” and “Wish You Were Here,” spanning their different albums in the 2000s.
Incubus then went on hiatus in 2008, and focused on their personal projects and family. In 2009, they released Monuments and Melodies, their first greatest hits album.

In 2011, the band got together again and wrote some songs to be compiled in their album If Not Now, When? In 2012, their second compilation album The Essential Incubus was released.
In a press release, lead singer Brandon Boyd commented on their evolving sound too:
“So, if success is a drug, then Incubus is a functioning addict. I know how trite it sounds to be commenting on our own success but I see our addiction as a collective one. You have enabled us thus far and what we are creating in the process will be worthy of conversation for a long time to come.
When I say ‘WE’ I mean you and I. All of us. This is, after all, a conversation that started in the early 90’s and has continued until today. A stroll along a winding path through many landscapes and over much terrain.
Yes, our bones ache, our dogs are barkin’, our shoes have holes in them, and we don’t look as good with our shirts off anymore. But that doesn’t mean we won’t keep walking! And conversing along the way. I’d like to start thinking of success less as an opiate and more of a segue into the good parts of a conversation.”

Incubus has also toured with Linkin Park and System of a Down to name a few.
