K-Pop group Big Bang is coming to Manila
MANILA, Philippines – The K-Pop fever is about to get even hotter: Big Bang is coming to Manila.
The will perform on July 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena. This was confirmed via the band's agency YG Entertainment's website.
Manila will be one of the stops of the group's "MADE" World Tour, which they announced on April 2.
The upcoming tour kicks off with two concerts in Seoul on April 25 and 26 and then moves to at least 15 countries including China, Japan and the United States, the band's agency YG Entertainment said in a statement.
A total of 70 concerts have been scheduled, with the agency promising new venues and well trodden K-pop stages in Southeast Asia.
Popular rapper and the band's leader G-Dragon earlier said Big Bang was planning to release a new album along with the global tour.
Previously, Super Junior, Girls Generation, Born to Beat, and Red Velvet were here for the Best of Best of the Philippines Concert held at the Philippine Arena on April 12.
U-KISS and Laboum also dropped by Manila for a free concert in honor of the launch of K-Pop talent search show KISPINOY on April 15. – with reports from Agence France-Presse/Rappler.com
