Internet star DJ Loonyo has released a new single, “Kaya Natin ‘To,” in tribute to frontliners who have been working tirelessly throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The single is his second under Universal Records following his summer release “Dance Under the Sun.” It is a collaboration his fellow dancer Rockboi, co-writer Rhio Cohen, and producer Solomon Stark.
“Itong track na ito ay patunay kung anong klaseng sakripisyo yung binigay ninyo sa panahong ito, kung anong klaseng pagsubok yung hinarap ninyo sa panahong ito,” he said.

Along with the single’s release, DJ Loonyo is holding a Facebook contest, where people can share videos in tribute to frontliners, along with the hashtags #KayaNatinTo and #SalamatFrontliners. Winners will get a chance to win P20,000, with DJ Loonyo awarding them on a Kumu livestream on July 31, 2021.
DJ Loonyo rose to fame with his dance covers, particularly with his hit dance cover of “Fight Song,” which he also dedicated to frontliners in the Philippines in 2020.
Before signing with Universal Records, he released several singles, including the hit song “Teka Muna.” – Rappler.com
