K-pop boy group EXO has released the music video for “Don’t Fight The Feeling” along with their highly-anticipated special album of the same name on Monday, June 7.
The five-track album is EXO’s first group offering since Obsession was released in November 2019.
Don’t Fight The Feeling also marks the return of members Xiumin and D.O. who both have completed their mandatory military service, and Lay, who last participated in EXO’s 2018 album Don’t Mess Up My Tempo.
It’s also Chanyeol and Baekhyun’s last project for a while as the two enlisted in the military after taking part in the album promotions.
Hours before the release of the music video, EXO announced that Don’t Fight The Feeling has reached over 1.2 million pre-orders, breaking the group’s record of 1.1 million for Don’t Mess Up My Tempo.
The group is also set to hold an online exhibit on June 15 to celebrate the release of their special album.
EXO first teased fans of an album during their ninth anniversary on April 8. “For the first time in a while, all the members came together to film a music video,” said Kai.
EXO debuted under SM Entertainment in April 2012. They are known for their hits “Growl,” “Wolf,” “Monster,” “Ko Ko Bop,” and “Love Shot.” – Rappler.com
