Fête de la Musique Philippines is back!
The annual music festival, known for hosting a diverse range of musical stages and performances in different pocket venues across its host city pre-pandemic, will be fully virtual again in 2021.
The free-for-all online event will run from June 18 to June 21. It will feature OPM legends and select musical artists from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, as well as performances from foreign acts.
Dubbed as #FeteFromMyIsland, the virtual event will also showcase the natural beauty and rich culture of the Philippines, with stages in the country’s most popular destinations.
The Department of Tourism also uploaded a teaser on Wednesday, June 16 encouraging Filipinos to attend the event.
“Enjoy great music with your favorite local destinations in Metro Manila, La Union, Boracay, and El Nido from the comfort of your own home at #FeteFromMyIsland: It’s more fun at Fête de la Musique Philippines 2021!,” they wrote.
