iKON’s Bobby is engaged, expecting first child

Bobby of K-pop boy band iKON is engaged and expecting his first child.

“Hello, this is iKON’s Bobby. There is something I really want to tell you today, so I am writing this after putting in much thought. I have promised marriage with a person I love. I am also becoming a father in September,” the rapper said in an Instagram post on Friday, August 20, as translated on Soompi.

He also apologized to fans “who are hurt or confused by my news,” saying he should have informed them earlier. He also assured them that he will “work even harder to not cause harm to the members and the fans who are waiting for iKON’s activities.”

Bobby did not reveal the identity of his fiancée.

iKON made its debut under YG Entertainment in 2015. Members include Bobby, Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk, Ju-ne, and Chanwoo.

They released their single “Why Why Why” in March and appeared on the competition show Kingdom: Legendary War in April.

Bobby has also released two solo albums: Love and Fall in 2017 and Lucky Man in January. – Rappler.com
