Jake Zyrus is performing at NYC Pride March 2021

Jake Zyrus will be performing virtually at the upcoming NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 27.

The pop singer shared the news on Instagram, saying, “Happy to be a part of continuing the fight.”

NYC Pride March is one of the largest annual LGBTQ+ pride marches in the world. It will be broadcast on American network ABC7 and its website beginning at 12 pm EST (12 am on Monday, June 28, Manila time).

Jake released his latest single “Fix Me” in May. The song was produced by Filipino-American producer Troy Laureta, and written and composed by Grammy Award winner Kenneth Mackey, Swedish singer-songwriter Andreas Moss, and American producer Joshua Bronleewe. 

Jake first rose to fame after becoming a finalist in reality talent show Little Big Star in 2005, and gained international recognition when he guested on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show in 2007 and later appeared on US musical series Glee

He came out as a transgender man in 2017. –
