MANILA, Philippines – Sad news for Filipino Beliebers! Justin Bieber’s much-anticipated Justice World Tour show in Manila has been postponed following the singer’s health concerns.
According to concert promoter Ovation Productions, the Justice World Tour officially ended with “Rock in Rio” in Brazil, and “all dates up to and including March 25, 2023” are “postponed to next year.”
The international pop star was slated to have a stop in the Philippines on October 29 at the CCP Open Grounds. The statement told fans that they should “await further news on dates, venues, and cities as updates become available.”
Ovation Productions assured ticket holders for the Manila stop that their existing tickets will be honored in the rescheduled date. “Your tickets are still valid for the new date and no further action is required,” they said, but for those who will not be available on a new date, full refunds will be available and more information will be announced by the promoter.
The Justice World Tour was originally slated for 2020, but got postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It finally kicked off in February 2022. However, it was again postponed in June when Justin announced that he was battling Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome which caused him facial paralysis. It resumed in July before the singer had to take another break in September to focus on his health.
Justin last performed in the Philippines in 2011. He was supposed to return in 2017 for his Purpose Tour, but the Manila stop also got canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” – Rappler.com
