The WINNER member releases his long-awaited first solo album 'PAGE'

WINNER’s Kang Seung-yoon dropped the music video for “IYAH,” the title track of his new solo album PAGE on March 29, Monday.

In the music video, Seung-yoon showcased his beautiful vocals as he sang about the pressures of growing up. The video showed actual footage of the singer’s audition at Superstar K2 and dramatized scenes from his childhood. The music video also featured a cameo appearance of fellow WINNER member Mino.

The album features 12 tracks, all written by Kang.

PAGE features collaborations with a number of famous musicians such as veteran singer-songwriter Yoon Jong-shin, rapper Simon Dominic, and Mino.

YG Entertainment first announced the 27-year old singer’s solo comeback on January 27. Seung-yoon released the first music video teaser for “IYAH” on March 25 and the second was dropped on March 27.

Six hours before the digital release of PAGE, Seung-yeon dropped the album sampler on YouTube, which included a preview of all 12 tracks.

This is Kang Seung-yoon’s first comeback as a solo artist after officially debuting with WINNER under YG Entertainment in 2014 with their studio album 2014 S/S. – with reports from Jewel Camacho/Rappler.com
