Rex Orange County has canceled his Asia tour altogether, after earlier postponing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The English singer-songwriter was set to tour in Asia last May to promote his 2019 album Pony, with stops in Singapore, Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Seoul.
“We have tried very hard to plan for the future amongst the continuing global health crisis, but it has become clear that we’re unable to reschedule the PONY Asia tour dates to a new period that we are fully confident will go ahead,” the musician said in a statement.
“We will look to plan a new tour when shows can go ahead again and travel is possible,” he said.
According to local promoter Insignia Presents, refunds will be done automatically via the Ticketnet sysem, through the credit or debit card used upon purchase.
Tickets purchased in cash should be surrendered at the Ticketnet Box Office at the Smart Araneta Coliseum from Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm beginning October 12. – Rappler.com
